PostHeaderIcon 7 Tips on Choosing The Right Lipstick Shade

fuller-lips

One of the many decision every women has to make is choosing the shade of lipstick to wear whether for a party or for everyday use. Well, I share the same sentiment! And yes up until now I can’t really stay loyal to one product or shade.

Check this top 6 tips in picking the best lipstick for you.

1. Thin lips
Colors to Try: Peach, pale pink, light beige, clear
Colors to Avoid: Red, dark red, dark purple, any shade of brown

If you have thin lips it’s better to avoid dark and bright colors and settle for softer, natural sheer ones. Start with outlining your lips with a lip pencil that’s close to the natural color of your lips and then fill them in with light pink or light coral or beige lipgloss. Try using Lip Plumping glosses to make your lips so much fuller.

2. Full lips
Colors to Try: Red, soft pink, berry, mauve
Colors to Avoid: None

With full lips, you have quite a few options. Obviously you don’t need plumping glosses, instead apply a small amount of clear gloss to the middle of your top lip for the same affect. I have naturally full lips, and find that I don’t need lip liner, and rose colours look the most amazing!

3. Daytime wear
Colors to Try: Pink, peach, berry, beige
Colors to Avoid: Anything too dark, as you will risk to look like a vampire

Your daytime look should be casual, so stick to sheer glosses or light colors, and simple eye makeup. If you are going somewhere special, glam up your daytime look with a bit more color on your lips – the right shades of pink and beige compliment everyone!

About the Movie

Step Up 2 - The Streets

When rebellious street dancer Andie (Briana) lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. When she joins forces with the school’s hottest dancer Chase (Robert Hoffman) to form a crew of classmate outcasts to compete in Baltimore’s underground dance battle The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

It’s the story of rebellious 16-year-old street dancer Andie West (Briana Evigan). After her mother died, she was taken in by her mother’s best friend, Sarah (Sonja Sohn). Since West often skips school and spends too much time as member of the notorious dance crew 410, Sarah wants her to go live with her aunt in Texas.

However, her friend and older brother figure, Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) convinces Sarah to give her another chance: she can audition for the Maryland School of the Arts. Though the director of the school is hesitant to accept Andie, she is still accepted. Due to her school commitments she misses many 410 rehearsals, and they throw her out. She assembles a new crew of classmates that includes Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman), the school’s best dancer; they practice clandestinely in the school after school hours, to compete against the 410 in Baltimore’s underground dance battle, The Streets.

After a humiliating prank from MSA, the 410 crew attacks Chase and vandalizes the school, after which Blake Collins (Will Kemp), the director of the school and Chase’s big brother, throws out West and forbids the school’s students to participate in any competitions like The Streets. They go to the building where the event takes place anyway, but the 410 do not let them compete, and the crowd agrees. Since MSA believes the streets is more than just for dancing, they go in the streets, where the dancing really started, and perform in the pouring rain. Blake, who is observing, is impressed enough to allow West to return to the school, and integrate the dance style into the school program.

Shrek 3 PosterWe again conquered the movie house!

We watched Shrek 3 and all I can say was Wow!! I had such great time!My family loved it so much that the kids were really laughing out loud with most of the scenes in the movie! Well that includes me!! There are a lot of new characters, the ones I loved most are the fairy tale princesses taking their part. Princesses became fighters!!

It was like a fairy tale land inside far far away kingdom. The villains were present as well of course siding Charming the villain. Donkey and the cat were so funny!! The kids of donkey, which were half donkey and half dragon (quite peculiar huh!) really cartoon material!

They are adorable. Oh, not to mention the Puss in Boots’ begging eyes! Funny and cute indeed! And when they switched body donkey and puss in boots! Blame the old insane wizard!! Shrek is finally a father in Shrek 3. I say this is the best cartoon movie so far that made me laugh out loud.

So you guys and gals! go to your favorite cinemas and watch Shrek 3! I’m pretty sure you’ll have a great time like I did.
