I was almost afraid I would fall wearing it, but when I put it on! wallah! it felt good! Plus! I always wanted to buy a white sandal but couldn’t find the design I absolutely like until this! Geeezz! thanks again deary friends.
Chasing a Star
Chasing – I just arrived from a tedious task we did 2 hours ago at the mall. The mall looks extra festive today. I wondered why? My colleague said it’s the City’s beauty pageant talent show in relation to the coming City Fiesta. I shrugged, uh okay…nothing really special. We decided to look around, our usual thing after a hard work in the office. Feasting our eyes with the beautiful displays of dresses, bags, shoes and accessories in the mall. We just learned that a celebrity from Manila is coming over the mall to “meet and greet” his fans. We are not really a fan of this celebrity yet still we decided to stick around and well…probably do some “chasing”? the way a die hard fan would do just to catch a glimpse of their idol and well, to take a picture with them. It so happened that I also bumped into another friend of mine who seemed to be very interested in seeing this celeb too! True enough after couple of minutes of waiting he was there! I was a little confused at first when my friend pointed out that he is there already…I said “where?” I can’t see him?! Mind you guys, the mall is not that jam packed with people. How can I not be confused when he’s wearing a polo the same color as his body guards! Geeezzz! So we wasted no time and went right close to where he is! Of course we took the liberty of taking pictures of him…..hesitant at first, the guards might forbid us in doing so. Fortunately they seem not to be tight with the security so we can freely take pictures of him. I can’t seem to find the right timing to get a good picture of him! I nearly called one of the coordinators of the show who happens to be my friend for a clear pic of him but I can see he’s so busy with stuff in his hands. Hafta to do it myself. Check out his picture below.

I can’t believe I actually indulge into following him around the mall! at least he just went to the dept. store of SM, so we didn’t really exerted that much effort chasing him around. And we didn’t really did the obvious following.. just sort of stalking perhaps? Whatever you call it. Anyways, we finally got the chance to be close to him when he settled to his seat to start the meeting and the greeting as they call it…Guess what? we were the first ones to take pictures with him! Right on sisters! LoL! Efforts paid off! He was nice, he has to be nice otherwise he won’t last long in his career. It was my first time posing with a celeb, exchanging words with a star and shaking hands with a personality. Other’s may say it’s “jologs” but trust me, it’s a nice feeling. He’s definitely great looking! His eyes they call it “chinito”, perfect set of white teeth, lean body (I’m sure undeneath that white 3/4 sleeved polo is a great body!), perfect tan..He is just gorgeous! When I shook hands with him, I was surprised how normal he feels….not that very soft hands I anticipated…Probably because he indulge into different sports which exposes him to different activities giving him such natural look and feel. Whatever! he is still gorgeous! It was all worth the wait! Nice meeting you Sports Unlimited host Marc Nelson!
Important Exercise Myths

Chances are you’ve heard all kinds of advice when it comes to working out. But are these maxims fact — or fiction? Don’t believe these common workout whoppers:
Myth #1: Exercise should hurt. Whether you’ve been told “No pain, no gain,” or that you should “feel the burn,” the reality is that exercise doesn’t have to be painful to be effective. In fact, pushing yourself too hard, too fast will most likely lead to an injury — not a fit physique!
Myth #2: You can target specific areas. Don’t buy into the myth of spot exercising to reduce fat in a particular area. While it’s true that strengthening exercises will target specific muscles — for example, crunches strengthen your abdominal muscles — no exercise can burn fat in a specific area.
Myth #3: To benefit from cardio, you have to do it for at least an hour at a time. It’s just not true that if you don’t have an hour to exercise, you may as well not bother. For weight loss, it’s just as effective to work out frequently for shorter periods (such as 10 or 15 minutes). Remember, it all adds up.
Myth #4: If you strength train, you’ll get bulky. Many people avoid strength training because they’re afraid of it will cause them to bulk up. The truth is, while resistance training helps you maintain your lean muscle mass, building substantial amounts of muscle is very difficult, especially when you’re losing weight. Unless you’re a bodybuilder following a program designed to increase your muscle mass, odds are you won’t bulk up.
Myth #5: If you exercise, you can eat whatever you want. While exercise does burn calories, what and how much you eat still matters. For example, a one-mile walk burns about 100 calories — so you’d have to walk for 12 miles to burn off the typical 1,200-calorie fast-food meal of a hamburger, fries, and a soft drink!
Myth #6: There’s a quick fix. When it comes to fitness, slow and steady wins the race. Don’t buy into advertisements that promise certain fitness equipment or activities will get you in shape quickly or with no effort.

How to Rebond Hair the Cheapest Way
Finally my long wait is over! I just had my hair rebonded and guess what? I did not really spend so much to have my hair done (rebonded). I always had my hair straight but then I got bored with it and decided to have it curled. You know girls, always worried of how we look..I actually liked the curl effects on me, it gave me a different look…Until again I got bored of it and also I began to worry since I noticed frequent hair falls and my hair became hard to manage..I am almost afraid of combing it because of the hair fall whenever I do that and the breakage is just terrible! So then I decided to restore my old hair and old me but I was worried of the expenses because my hair is very long (waste length). I’ll be spending a fortune if I’ll have this done in the parlor. So me and my friends decided to do it ourselves!! (geezzz! none of us ever did this before promise!) surprisingly I did not worry a bit! Our philisophy was “As long as we know how to read and follow the instruction, we will not go wrong!” So off we went to a beauty care store and asked the sales lady which hair rebonding treatment is best to use, she gave us a lot of tips and told us, there’s not much of difference between manufacturers. It all depends on how the chemical is applied and how the rebond is done. Okay, so we learned a lot from her. For my hair I decided to have AhGlow since according to the saleslady it is what my favorite parlor uses and it’s also a bit cheaper compared to Wella. For these 5 I spent 1,100 PHP and mind you, I did not consume all of it so I can still use it next time, my mom wanted to use it anyway
. When I went back to the office, we were happy to know that a lot noticed and gave me great comments and even asked who did it and how much did I spend for it!
I’ll show you how to do it and the result of my hair after the jump..
